Ingredients

cooked wheatberries
cooled and drained

whole wheat flour

honey

olive oil

salt

instant yeast

warm water

Instructions
In a large bowl, combine warm water, honey, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes.
Add whole wheat flour, cooked wheatberries, salt, and olive oil. Mix well.
Knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1.5 hours.
Punch down the dough, shape into a loaf, and place in a greased loaf pan.
Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding a tablespoon of flaxseeds or sunflower seeds.
